Policies, Terms and Conditions
Participants should arrive to early to class to ensure time to settle in, as well as to give the Instructor time to screen Participants due to Covid-19. For all classes which results in a Certification, Participants are required to be present for 100% of the class. Latecomers may be turned away at the discretion of the Instructor, as the Instructor may not be able to "catch up" Latecomers on missed material.
Cancellation, Refund and Substituting Participant Terms and Conditions
- Cancellation requests must be made 6 days in advance of your Course Date.
- All course fees include a non-refundable and non-transferable Digital Material Fee of $20.00 per Participant. The remainder of the course fee is refundable and transferable.
- Requests for Substituting a Participant with another must be made within a reasonable time frame as Online Learning must be fully completed before the In-Class Session. A $20.00 Digital Material Fee will apply.
- Purchases of Online-Only Delivered courses are final.
We understand that life happens! We ask that any rescheduling request be made 4 days in advance of your Course Date through email. Due to significantly reduced classroom capacity, any rescheduling request made less than 4 days in advanced of the course will be subject to a $30.00 rescheduling fee.
Please do not report to your class with Signs or Symptoms of Covid-19. If a Participant will not be able answer "No" to all screening questions in the Confirmation Email, please email us right away and we will be happy to reschedule your course! (no fees apply) Participants who report to class ill, answer "yes" to any screening question, or are fevered, will be asked to leave and subject to rescheduling fees.
Course Postponement Policy
In the event the Instructor falls ill, and the unlikely event that we are unable to reschedule a replacement Instructor, all Participants will be notified through email that their course is postponed. Participants may request rescheduling in any other available course. For the safety and well being of all Participants, Instructors are not allowed to teach with symptoms.
In the event of another Mandated Closure by Public Health or Government, all courses will be considered postponed until we are able to re-open.
All Personal Data and Information collected for The Canadian Red Cross First Aid Program (Names and Contact details) are shared with The Canadian Red Cross for the purpose of delivery and issuance of First Aid Certificates. All other information is kept secure and confidential. We do not and will sell or share any personal information with third parties. First Class First Aid Inc will comply with information requests from Local Public Health Units in the areas we operate for the purposes of Covid-19 Contact Tracing.
